Selecting an OEM manufacturer for safety equipment is a long-term decision. Use this checklist when evaluating factories.
1. Certifications and quality system
ISO 9001 and CE Module D show process control. Ask for product certificates (CE, UIAA, XF) for your target market.
2. Product development
Can the factory support model selection, tooling, labelling and packaging? Clear engineering communication is as important as price.
3. Supply and consistency
Check MOQ, lead time, spare parts and batch traceability. Inconsistent batches damage distributor brands.
4. Market support
Good partners provide manuals, certificate packs and after-sales support for end users.
