Buyers often ask whether to choose a full-body harness or a half-body (sit) harness. The answer depends on the work, not just the price.
Full-body harness
- Best for fall arrest and general work at height
- Sternal and dorsal attachment points (often marked “A”)
- Good for industrial maintenance, construction and rescue
Half-body / sit harness
- Best for rope access, positioning and climbing
- Lighter, easier to move in
- Often combined with a chest ascender for ascent work
Adventure parks and training
Parks often need quick-fit full-body harnesses with colour coding and durable webbing for daily use.
